Peover Golf Club

Administered on traditional lines, with competitions, golf activities and social events organised by a committee appointed by the members.

The Course

The 18-hole par 72 parkland course measures 6702 yards off the back tee, which are positioned to maximise the benefits of the courses natural contours. Covering 165 acres of varied terrain, an attractive feature being the Peover Eye River, which meanders its way through the centre of the course creating a challenge for even the most experienced golfer. Adjacent to the first tee is a putting green and chipping area with a practice net. You will also find an extensive practice area located next to the 16th tee.

The Membership

The members of the club pay their annual subs on the 1st April each year. The Club is strictly equal status between the Ladies and Gentleman. A very friendly and sociable atmosphere has developed within the Club where everyone is made to feel welcome.

Food

A Full range of Home-Made Food is available from a Full English Breakfast, to Snacks, Sandwiches, and Hot Food with Specials & Soups changing daily.

Clubhouse

Designed by the International renowned Architect Roderick James and his associate Mike Hope of Dartmouth Devon, who specialise in Oak Buildings of unique design, The main body of the building is hand-crafted in Oak. The Carpenter Oak & Woodland Company of Wiltshire han-crafted the Oak Frames on traditional lines, using ancient skills and techniques creating a relaxed atmosphere in order to unwind after your game of golf.

With visitors welcome all the time and a host of value-for-money packages for groups, it's no wonder the youthful complex is already attracting envious glances from all corners of the North West
